{"id":1228,"date":"2016-07-09T22:48:52","date_gmt":"2016-07-10T02:48:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hoplawego.com\/blog\/?p=1228"},"modified":"2016-07-15T22:26:36","modified_gmt":"2016-07-16T02:26:36","slug":"rebalancer-donnees-vsan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.hoplawego.com\/blog\/rebalancer-donnees-vsan\/","title":{"rendered":"Rebalancer les donn\u00e9es sur un vSAN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Depuis quelques mois maintenant, j&rsquo;ai impl\u00e9ment\u00e9 des clusters vSAN dans nos datacenters.<\/p>\n<p>Deux clusters de quatre noeuds:<\/p>\n<p>Dell r730XD avec chacun:<br \/>\n6 SSD<br \/>\n18 disques durs<br \/>\n288G de RAM<br \/>\n4 cartes 10G<br \/>\nVmware ESXi 6 update 1.<br \/>\nDans chaque cluster,<\/p>\n<p>En gros, \u00e7a donne un beau 36Tb utilisable dans lequel on \u00e0 pouss\u00e9 environ 10Tb. Les performances sont tr\u00e8s bonnes, surprenantes on pourrait dire. M\u00eames certaines de nos VMs les plus gourmandes en IOPS roulent comme un charme. Plus besoin d&rsquo;attendre 5 secondes entre chaque panneau du vRealize Ops ou pour Ignite.<\/p>\n<p>Par contre, qui dit beaucoup de data, dit aussi qu&rsquo;on doit \u00e9quilibrer la charge entre les noeuds.<br \/>\nPour l&rsquo;instant ce processus se fait manuellement. Esp\u00e9rons que \u00e7a changera dans les prochaines versions. (Important de noter que le processus se fait automatiquement lorsque le pourcentage de d\u00e9balancement atteint 30%)<\/p>\n<p>Voici comment on s&rsquo;y prend.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<pre>- Premierement, on ouvre une sessions SSH sur le vCenter\r\n - Dans le cas du v6, \"ssh @NomDuServeur\", ensuite, \r\n\"shell.set -enabled True\" puis \"shell\"\r\n - Ensuite, on doit lancer la console Ruby (RVC)\r\n - \"rvc\" puis entrer le username et mot de passe de l'admin SSO \r\n(ex: administrator@vsphere.local)\r\n - Maintenant on se doit de naviguer \u00e0 traver l'infrastructure pour\r\n se rendre au bon cluster.\r\n - ls\r\n - on voit\r\n 0 \/\r\n 1 localhost\/\r\n - choisissons \"1\"\r\n - ls\r\n - on voit\r\n 0 NomDuDatacenter#1 (datacenter)\r\n 1 NomDuDatacenter#2 (datacenter)\r\n - choisissons \"0\"\r\n - \/localhost&gt; cd 0\r\n\r\n- \/localhost\/NomDuDatacenter#1&gt; ls\r\n 0 storage\/\r\n 1 computers [host]\/\r\n 2 networks [network]\/\r\n 3 datastores [datastore]\/\r\n 4 vms [vm]\/\r\n\r\n- choisissons \"1\"\r\n - \/localhost\/NomDuDatacenter#1&gt; cd 1\r\n\r\n- \/localhost\/NomDuDatacenter#1\/computers&gt; ls\r\n 0 NomDuCluster#1 (cluster): cpu 250 GHz, memory 1152 GB\r\n 1 NomDuCluster#2 (cluster): cpu 800 GHz, memory 6350 GB\r\n 2 Moved\/\r\n 3 Temp\/\r\n 4 ToRepair\/\r\n - \/localhost\/NomDuDatacenter#1\/computers&gt; cd 0\r\n\r\n<\/pre>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Nous sommes maintenant \u00e0 l&rsquo;int\u00e9rieur du cluster vSAN.
